
Born in England and now proud to call the United States home for the past 29 years, my career has always been centered around hospitality, exceptional service, and creating memorable guest experiences.
After earning my degree in Hospitality Management and Tourism, I began my career at a prestigious country house hotel in England, where I developed a strong foundation in luxury hospitality and the art of personalized service.
Since relocating to the United States, I have enjoyed a diverse and rewarding career across several sectors of the hospitality industry. My experience includes working in a casual crab and steak house, helping establish a luxury bed and breakfast, designing and opening the spa at a waterfront resort, completing Crate & Barrel's Management Training Program, and serving as General Manager of Timber Lodge in Medina for seven years. Most recently, I managed a wine bar, where my passion for wine education and creating engaging guest experiences continued to flourish.
Each role has shaped my approach to hospitality, leadership, and customer service. Today, I bring together decades of experience with my love of wine through Wine & Wisdom Events, creating memorable tastings and educational experiences that are welcoming, engaging, and designed to inspire confidence and curiosity in every guest.

My passion for wine truly flourished during my time at Timber Lodge. As my curiosity grew, I pursued the Introductory Sommelier Course and Examination through the Court of Master Sommeliers, an experience that deepened my understanding of wine and introduced me to a community of dedicated wine professionals.
When I began hosting wine tasting events at Timber Lodge, my appreciation for wine evolved even further. Sharing wines with guests, exploring new regions and producers, and creating memorable tasting experiences strengthened both my knowledge and my passion.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, while many of us were confined to our homes, I embraced virtual wine tastings hosted via Zoom. These events connected me with acclaimed winemakers, sommeliers, and wine enthusiasts from around the world. Learning directly from industry experts broadened my perspective, expanded my network, and fueled an even greater desire to continue exploring the fascinating world of wine.
Those experiences shaped not only my wine education but also my belief that wine is about more than what's in the glass—it's about the people, the places, and the stories that bring every bottle to life.
